How AstroNirnay Began
AstroNirnay was founded by Surendra, a software engineer and Vedic astrology enthusiast from Hyderabad, India. Surendra's interest in Jyotish began years before the platform was built — studying classical texts, working through birth chart interpretations, and learning the mathematical precision behind Nakshatra calculations, Dasha systems, and planetary transits.
What began as a personal study became a professional mission: to build a platform that does what most astrology apps don't — combine deterministic chart calculations (accurate to the second, using Lahiri ayanamsa and the Swiss Ephemeris standard) with AI-powered interpretation that understands context.
